Privacy notice

Last updated 6 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. AAB Research Ltd, trading as AAB Therapeutics, is the data controller. Our address is Meditrina Building 260, Babraham Research Campus, Cambridge CB22 3AT, United Kingdom.

What we collect

What we do not do

Why we are allowed to hold it

For the newsletter, our lawful basis is your consent. You give it by entering your address and confirming it through the link we email you, and you can withdraw it at any time. For server logs, our lawful basis is legitimate interest: keeping the site available, secure and working.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter records until you unsubscribe, at which point the record is deleted rather than marked inactive. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are removed after 30 days. Server logs are kept for 30 days and then rotated away.

Who else sees it

Our website and the sign-up records sit on a server we rent and administer ourselves, in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Our email provider handles the messages we send you. Typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google and Google sees your IP address when it does. No other third party receives anything.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to restrict it. Write to privacy@aab-therapeutics.com and we will respond within one month. Every newsletter email also carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which deletes your record immediately.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting newsletter subscribers will be announced in the newsletter itself.
